What you'll be doing Dyson is looking for a driven and high-energy professional with a background in product management and sales to join our team as a Key Account Manager. This individual will play a key role in managing Dyson’s strategic reseller partners and driving our distribution growth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). As a Key Account Manager reporting to the National Distribution Manager, you will own the relationships with key retail and channel partners, ensuring the successful sell-in and sell-out of Dyson products across multiple categories. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Dyson’s strategic reseller partners, ensuring a strong and productive relationship.
- Develop and execute distribution strategies for Dyson products across consumer electronics, home appliances, beauty, and other relevant categories within KSA.
- Maintain CXO-level relationships within key channel partners and drive the strategic growth ambitions of Dyson in the region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, supply chain) to ensure partners receive timely support and solutions tailored to their needs.
- Work closely with reseller partners to forecast and establish accurate sales plans, aligning with Dyson’s business objectives.
- Be accountable for meeting monthly and quarterly revenue targets, managing both sell-in and sell-out performance to ensure the achievement of revenue goals.
- Lead demand planning and sales forecasting across a range of reseller channels, ensuring alignment with supply and distribution requirements.
- Partner with Dyson’s marketing team to drive impactful channel marketing initiatives, managing MDF budgets and measuring ROI on retail campaigns.
- Support Distribution Manager with negotiating and managing contractual relationships with resellers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and optimal gross margin management for Dyson.
- Foster strong relationships with key retailers, e-commerce platforms, and strategic alliances with group retail companies, expanding Dyson’s reach in KSA.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to co-create impactful launch events, retail marketing plans, and promotions to drive customer engagement and sales growth.
- Manage a full year active calendar for channel-wise promotions, ensuring that Dyson products are prominently featured and supported.
- Measure and evaluate support processes to drive continuous process improvements, ensuring the success of reseller partners.
- Identify opportunities within the sales process that can be enhanced or simplified through technology, driving improvements in systems, tools, and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales, product management, or category management within an electronics distributor/reseller environment in the KSA region.
- Retail and merchandising experience is strongly preferred, with a deep understanding of how Dyson’s products can be positioned in the market.
- Proven relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels, including CXO.
- Positive attitude with the fortitude to navigate through evolving operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and execution capabilities, ensuring that strategies are implemented effectively and efficiently.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in Arabic and English.
