Job Title: Construction Specialist (Electrical and Instrumentation) - JED0070 Primary Location: SAU-MK-Jeddah Job Purpose: Responsibilities include monitoring and ensuring work is completed in accordance with the Project Execution and HSE Management Plans, ensuring compliance to these plans, and executing the construction portion of project plans through:

  1. Detailed planning and day-to-day direction of field activities.
  2. Preparation of resource forecasting.
  3. Forecasting of costs and trends.
  4. Establishing, authorising and implementing construction schedules and strategy.
  5. Managing any scope, cost, time, and schedule changes to a project.
  6. Controlling project expectations for labour, equipment, material, and services to ensure field operations are within budget.
  7. Providing supervision and direction to discipline employees, sub-contractors, and field supervisors.
  8. Ensuring effective communication with various stakeholders.
  9. Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with the client.
  10. Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and terms and conditions of the Head Contract.
  11. Identifying and managing risk.
  12. Leading a proactive work environment and maintaining focus on project goals.
Technical and Industry Experience: Knowledgeable in the establishment and application of construction management systems, processes, and tools. Excellent technical and practical skills with a history of delivering quality, accurate, and timely work. Previous technical, practical, and leadership experience in the relevant discipline, including construction positions and management. Must have thorough knowledge of construction practices, economic principles, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications. Additional Requirements:
  1. Competency in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
  2. Experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries.
  3. Experience in construction engineering on large projects.
