Design Management Director (NEOM Site) AtkinsRéalis is looking for 3 Design Management Directors to be based on NEOM The LINE Site. We welcome applicants with MEP, Structural and Architectural backgrounds. Job Description The Design Management Director is responsible for the design integration, design schedule and ‘design to budget’ of his or her design packages, including the interface between different designers and engineering stages. The Design Management Director will be part of The LINE Projects, Senior Management Team, and will be expected to collaborate across delivery functions and with stakeholders. Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  1. Overall accountability for the delivery of design from Stage 3 design to assurance and handover.
  2. Leadership of a team of senior professionals and their support staff.
  3. Management of design, to budget.
  4. Management of tier1 design consultants.
  5. Delivery of design for Phase 1 Modules with emphasis on collaborative delivery and quality.
  6. Review project design in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  7. Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
  8. Concise reporting on progress and challenges.
  9. Balance stakeholder expectations against project needs.
  10. Oversee construction, identify deviations and ensure programme targets are met.
  11. Lead a robust change control process.
Qualifications BS degree or MS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field. Preferably Chartered Engineer status and/or Project Management accreditation. 25 years of experience in design or construction management. Advanced knowledge of design management processes.
