Dear Doctor, We have immediate vacant positions for the position "Assistant Consultant Hematology" for a highly reputed & internationally acclaimed Saudi Arabian Government Hospital in MADINAH - Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia. Job Description: Assistant Consultant Hematology: Principal Duties:

  1. Assists in providing patient care in Adult Hematology, under supervision of the most responsible physician (ward rounds, clinics, on-calls).
  2. Assists in consultations to other specialties in the hospital.
  3. Performs bone marrow aspirates, biopsies and other related procedures under supervision of the most responsible physician.
  4. Assists in prescribing and administering medications (chemotherapeutic agents), under supervision of the MRP.
  5. Participates in department/division educational activities (journal club, tumor board, lectures, etc).
  6. Participates in department/division research activities.
  7. Participates in hospital/department committees upon request.
  8. Participates in training and education of rotating residents and junior staff members.
  9. Performs and covers other duties as delegated by the chairman or division head.
  10. Adheres strictly to all hospital policies and procedures.
  11. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education: Per credentialing guidelines, a bachelor's degree from a recognized medical school. Work Experience: At least five (5) years of clinical experience in a recognized hospital/institution. A registered member of the Saudi Board Council (essential). Training certificates in specialized field. Skills: English language: Essential. Computer skills: Essential.
