Job Description

  • Organizational departmental planning with Branch Manager/General Manager/Director of Operations/Country Manager
  • Develops and implements the logistics plan and procedures for the designated projects
  • Selecting the most appropriate transport vendors, instructions for suppliers and contractors
  • Responsible for management of the operational budget
  • Together with the manager, establishing the profit ratio.
  • Ensure all customer KPIs are met
  • Ensure the team meets the customer’s and PSA BDP's Internal deadlines
  • Conduct periodically review and improve the process flow and document process flow.
  • Carry out internal systems training to staff
  • Ensure billing is done correctly and timely.
  • Monitor all required data is updated into internal systems, or customer systems (according procedures)
  • Reporting possible incidents to the manager
  • Record keeping of exceptional incidents and conduct investigation on incident with the recommended corrective action
  • Preparing reports required by customers and/or internal team
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor´s degree or equivalent and additional qualifications in supply chain management will be helpful.
  • Experience of minimum 5 years in leadership role in logistics field
  • Knowledge and experience of freight forwarding operations
  • Working knowledge of the operations procedure in the country
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
