Position Summary: Plan and execute preventive maintenance of electrical equipment, including planning and assigning jobs to shift technicians. Major Responsibilities & Duties:

  1. Monthly updating for balance PM jobs and planning during Opportunity/SDN.
  2. Preparation of monthly PM and greasing schedules, along with record-keeping of completed sheets.
  3. Relieving of shift in case of emergency.
  4. Recording all spare/material requirements and maintaining history.
  5. Updating motor history and arranging planning for motors overhauling during planned shutdowns and at regular intervals where standby motors are available.
  6. Preparation of monthly department reports, updating all energy data, and record-keeping.
  7. Maintaining records of all vendor visits and AMC visits with reports.
  8. Issuing material from stores and keeping proper consumption records.
  9. Checking received material.
  10. Ensuring all spares required for the continuous running of the plant.
  11. Overall coordination during plant shutdown activities to understand and follow organizational HS&E policies.
  12. Conducting training for subordinates and developing their skills.
  13. Following safety instructions related to their jobs.
  14. Reporting damaged PPE, unsafe machines, or equipment to concerned staff.
  15. Keeping provided PPEs in good, workable condition.
  16. Avoiding any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
  17. Reporting any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to the responsible personnel.
  18. Attending planned safety training sessions.
  19. Having the right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
Skills Competencies:
  1. Required to thoroughly understand the plant electrical single line diagram.
  2. Understanding of electrical power and control systems, including analyzing and troubleshooting.
  3. Hands-on experience in maintenance of transformers, switchgears, and motors.
