Your Role: As a Compliance Manager at VisionX, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's adherence to all relevant regulatory and internal compliance standards. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance program that mitigates risks, minimizes legal and financial exposure, and fosters a culture of compliance within the organization. Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments of identified compliance gaps.
  2. Categorize gaps by severity, impact, and urgency to prioritize actions.
  3. Create detailed remediation plans for each gap, including timelines, responsible parties, and measurable outcomes.
  4. Engage relevant stakeholders across departments to ensure effective implementation of compliance initiatives.
  5. Provide regular updates to leadership on the progress of remediation efforts, including any challenges encountered.
  6. Establish and maintain mechanisms for ongoing monitoring of gap closure efforts.
  7. Utilize dashboards or compliance management tools to provide real-time visibility into remediation status.
  8. Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
  9. Monitor compliance with all relevant IT, security, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, local water industry regulations).
  10. Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  11. Maintain a centralized repository for all compliance-related documentation, including audit findings, corrective action plans, and evidence of adherence.
  12. Review and update compliance policies and procedures as needed to reflect changes in regulations and industry best practices.
  13. Develop and implement a robust risk management strategy to identify, assess, and mitigate IT operational risks.
  14. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of vulnerability.
  15. Develop and implement controls to mitigate identified risks.
  16. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation controls.
What You Need:
  1. 8+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.
  2. Strong understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, data privacy laws).
  3. Experience in conducting risk assessments, developing remediation plans, and monitoring compliance activities.
  4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  8. Experience with compliance management tools and data analysis techniques is a plus.
