We are seeking a seasoned Head of Freight Logistics Sales to join a leading logistics company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia . This role is exclusive to Saudi Nationals and requires a strong background in freight sales, business development, and leadership within the logistics industry. About the Role As the Head of Freight Logistics Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales strategy, expanding market share, and leading a high-performing sales team . You will develop and execute strategic plans to secure new business, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure revenue growth across air, sea, and land freight solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the freight sales team , setting targets and driving performance
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies for market penetration
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and government entities
- Develop and execute pricing and sales strategies to enhance profitability
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth supply chain and logistics operations
- Stay updated on market trends, competition, and regulatory requirements
- Report directly to senior leadership, providing insights and sales forecasts
- Saudi National with a strong background in freight and logistics sales
- 10+ years of experience in logistics, with a focus on freight forwarding
- Proven track record of sales leadership and revenue growth
- Strong network and relationships within the logistics and supply chain industry
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, negotiate complex contracts, and develop high-impact sales strategies
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding (air, sea, land), customs clearance, and trade regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent communication and business development skills
- Sales Leadership – Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing freight sales teams.
- Business Development – Strong experience in identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Freight Forwarding Expertise – In-depth knowledge of air, sea, and land freight operations.
- Market & Industry Knowledge – Understanding of Saudi Arabia’s logistics sector, trade regulations, and customs processes.
- Key Account Management – Ability to build and maintain relationships with major clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning – Capability to develop and execute sales and pricing strategies for revenue growth.
- Negotiation & Contract Management – Strong skills in structuring and closing high-value logistics contracts.
- Financial Acumen – Understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
- Networking & Stakeholder Engagement – Established relationships with key industry players, government bodies, and multinational clients.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Ability to analyze challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Data-Driven Approach – Use of market insights and analytics to drive sales performance.
- Technology & Digital Tools – Familiarity with CRM systems, freight management software, and logistics tech solutions.
- Leadership & People Management – Ability to mentor, train, and develop sales professionals.
- Adaptability & Resilience – Capability to navigate market shifts and industry challenges effectively.
- Excellent Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written abilities in both Arabic and English.
