Data Center Security Specialist (Saudi National Only), DC Security APMEA

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking to hire a highly motivated, customer-obsessed professional to provide hands-on support to our Data Center Security team across Saudi Cluster. As a Data Center Security Specialist (DSS), you will be tasked with running day-to-day data center security operations, supporting and executing security projects and programs, as well as assuring audit compliance with AWS policies and procedures. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

Key Job Responsibilities

  1. Help lead daily operational security as part of a security operations team across multiple facilities.
  2. Drive security awareness campaigns aimed at enhancing security vigilance and effectiveness.
  3. Experience with workflow ticketing and extraction development of performance metrics.
  4. Lead security investigations across campus facilities.
  5. Oversee physical security vendors that provide guards, electronic security systems, door construction/repair, fencing, and access controls.
  6. Oversee security construction projects.
  7. Provide security awareness training to data center personnel.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Saudi National and GCC only, and Fluent in Arabic and English.
  2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in security.
  3. > 2+ years experience of physical security management.
  4. Strong data-driven decision making and analytical skills.
  5. Member of a security professional body.
  6. Security specific qualifications and/or proof of continued personal development.
  7. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
