Job details
We are looking for a Safety / HSE Engineer with a minimum of 4 years experience in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Toolbox talks.
- Inspect work areas for safety hazards and risks.
- Conduct HSE related trainings on proper use of equipment and safety hazards.
- Carry out Risk Assessments step by step.
- Carry out various HSE Inspections and conduct Audits.
- Active Monitoring at work areas.
- Plan and Implement OHS policies and programs.
- Check if employees are acting in adherence to rules and regulations.
- Ensure workplace safety standards meet legal requirements.
- Conduct HSE Inductions and Mass Campaigns.
- Conduct HSE Motivational programs and Awareness programs.
- Test workplaces for toxic substances.
- Investigate accidents that occur at the workplace and report them efficiently.
- Prepare HSE Documentation and Statistics.
- Report to Top management and Clients.
- Conduct Internal HSE meetings.
- Respond to emergencies such as workplace accidents and give first aid.
- Review & Communicate HSE Policy and procedures with management and employees.
- Enhance Positive Safety Culture.
- Maintain PPE Stock Register.
- Be an effective communicator.
