Requisition Number: 23412BR Description: Key Tasks and Duties:

Monitoring the structural works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
Reviewing, approving and processing all structural technical submittals.
Answering RFIs related to Structure and Architecture.
Assist in supervising the work of all structural activities and operations, maintaining progress records and reporting.
Reviewing contractor’s structural change order proposals and preparing recommendations to Structural PM.
Liaison with the necessary sub consultants.
Reviewing contractor’s claims related to structural works and preparing recommendations for claims.
Reviewing the contractor’s project record documents relevant to their discipline.
Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the structural works.
Signing off on completed structural works with completed documentation and maintaining the required record.
Perform all other duties given by Senior Structural Engineer.

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Structural/Civil.
Must have a minimum of 10 years total experience.
Civil experience in Pumping station projects (e.g., client, consultant, contractor, subcontractor).
Civil experience in Concrete Tanks and Steel Tanks (e.g., client, consultant, contractor, subcontractor).
Civil experience in DI and CS pipelines (e.g., client, consultant, contractor, subcontractor).
Structural design capabilities related to pipeline systems (force vector diagram 'Thrust Force Balancing').
Experience in drafting scope of works to consultants/contractors/subcontractors.
Experience in tender documents review (contractors and consultants bid submissions).
Experience in reviewing site investigation reports (topography, geotechnical and geophysical).
Experience in preparation/reviewing of structural design reports and structural drawings (concrete and steel).
Experience in preparation/reviewing of architectural drawings, method statements and material submission.
Experience in stormwater and sewerage system design for pumping station/tank plots.
