Job Specification: Business Development Manager – Partnerships Manager (FX Payments) Location: London (Hybrid/Remote working available) Hiring Company: X4 Group (on behalf of FX Payments Client) About the Role: X4 Group is recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) – Partnerships Manager for an exciting opportunity with one of our leading clients in the Foreign Exchange (FX) Payments industry. This role offers a hybrid/remote working model and is perfect for someone with minimum 4+ years of experience in business development, private client services, and partnerships within the FX payments sector. The BDM – Partnerships Manager will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, establishing and maintaining partnerships, as well as managing a portfolio of existing accounts. This is a dynamic and rewarding role with a base salary and commission structure, where the individual will be expected to build relationships with key stakeholders, develop new partnerships, and deliver value to both new and existing clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to identify, acquire, and onboard new private client accounts, focusing on partnerships.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients and partners, ensuring retention and satisfaction while identifying opportunities for account growth.
- Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) private clients, offering tailored FX solutions that meet their business or personal payment needs.
- Collaborate closely with the internal teams, including operations, compliance, and product development, to ensure smooth onboarding and seamless service delivery for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to provide clients with informed insights and guidance.
- Deliver regular sales reporting, tracking performance against targets, and adjusting strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in partnerships within the FX Payments or Financial Services sector - must have.
- Proven track record in acquiring new business, managing high-net-worth private client accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with partners and clients.
- Good level of knowledge of the FX payments landscape and the ability to explain complex FX products in an accessible and client-friendly manner.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong desire to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
