Junior Programming Languages Engineer

Junior Programming Languages Engineer (Graduate) - (PAYE Contractor) Mandarin and English speaking - Global Tech Giant We are currently working with a globally leading technology company looking for graduate/junior programming language engineers to join their growing Edinburgh-based team. In this role, you will be developing and maintaining compilers and working on compiler development tools. You will also be developing programming language solutions and benchmarking applications on a wide range of hardware.

• This position is a 12-month PAYE contract role - with full-time hours. There may be extensions available.
• If successful you must be able to work for at least 4 months full time and be happy to work in China for at least 6 months of the year if required.
• The position is an onsite role based in Edinburgh

• Fresh BSc, MSc or PhD Graduates with a strong Computer Science background from top university
• 1 year experience or industry internships are highly valued by the team
• Exposure or studies to programming languages or compilers a plus (not a must at all)
• SW development skills in any of the following: C++/Java/Kotlin/JavaScript/Swift, experience in mobile ecosystems appreciated
• Fluent in Mandarin
