A CAAS Designer / Cloud Engineer is needed to support a leading technology-communication provider. Are you ready for your next professional adventure? Your new role We have an opportunity for a CAAS Designer / Cloud Engineer to join our client’s team . Contract : Initially until 31st March will extend for 18 months Location: Paddington / Reading (Once in a Week) Hours : 40, Monday to Friday Responsibilities
- Partner with our customers (other internal client engineering teams), to better understand their requirements, problems and work together to deliver needed solutions in the best manner and aligned to IaaS patterns, security and networking principals.
- Reinforce consistency and coherence across all designs , and identify areas for improvements. Develop solutions which will evolve with the business direction.
- Work with the automation and build teams to develop automation and create the automated BAU change catalogue. Ensure that delivers can not only be built through automation but scales and flexes inline.
- Build and maintain documentation for the design that enables teams to use the design repeatably.
- Schedule automated changes into the In Life Operations team working to client’s objectives, scenario prioritisation, and customer requirements.
- Partner with other product managers and engineering teams to create cohesive strategies and roadmaps across organisational boundaries.
- Foster an environment that is customer-focused, data-driven, and hypothesis/experimentation based.
- Own the engagement with our Telco Cloud internal partners.

- Understand Linux
- Knowledge of TSA - understanding of the requirement
- VMWare
- Telco Cloud is a set of client’s internal product offerings enabled by several key products.
- VMware - VIO, vSphere 7, vSAN, NSX-T, Tanzu TKG-M and vROPS
