About the role
As a Laboratory Technician , you will assist with the processing of samples from the first screening of future participants through to the inpatient stays and following outpatient visits.Key responsibilities
- Specimen reception and registration
- Sample preparation and processing
- Sample testing
- Sample shipping
Requirements
- Tertiary qualified in a health or science-related degree
- Experience working in a laboratory (desired)
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team
- Good understanding of clinical research
- Adaptable, shows initiative and has a strong attention to detail
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Flexible hours, Monday to Friday and one weekend shift
- 3 to 5 shifts per week depending on your availability
