Senior Firmware Engineer Location - Cambridge Salary - £80,000 Company Overview: Our client is a fast-paced technology company specialising in innovative flow and gas sensing solutions. Their patented silicon-MEMS technology integrates seamlessly with established manufacturing processes, delivering high-performance, cost-effective solutions. They cater to industries such as consumer electronics, healthcare, industrial applications, IoT, and automotive components. Their systems-based approach drives the development of next-generation sensing technologies. Firmware Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Firmware Engineer to develop application solutions incorporating sensors on ARM-based microcontrollers or ASIC cores. Responsibilities include firmware development, SDK creation, and porting firmware to new processors. Senior Firmware Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop firmware for sensor-based solutions.
- Create SDKs for customer integration.
- Port firmware to various microcontrollers.
- Investigate and resolve firmware issues.
- Experience with real-time firmware development for ARM-based microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of software development within an ISO9001 framework.
- Proficiency in ADC, DAC, I2C, SPI, CAN, UART.
- Familiarity with Git, Keil, IAR, STM32CubeMX, and Eclipse/GNU.
