Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Project Engineer/Manager to join their team in VIC. This position offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated individual to grow their career within a well established renewables organization at the forefront of the energy transition. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will have the chance to work on exciting projects, gain valuable experience, and receive mentorship from experienced professionals within the renewables space.Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to support the successful execution of engineering projects.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical reports, plans, and specifications.
- Assist in ensuring that all project activities comply with quality standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Participate in identifying and resolving project-related issues and challenges, contributing innovative solutions.
- Analyze project data and performance metrics to track progress and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Actively engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your engineering skills.
- Promote a culture of safety within the team and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in project management within renewables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the engineering field, with aspirations to move into project management.
- This position will be based in Melbourne, VIC
