The Information Communication and Technology Team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an ICT Technical Lead to join their team on a permanent basis. Your opportunity To provide advanced expert technical advice and leadership in the establishment and maintenance of the governance and support framework for information technology and information management to enhance and support the delivery of high-quality patient care. This includes the ongoing development, integration, and maintenance of a range of both clinical and non-clinical information technology infrastructure and systems. About the Team The Information Communication and Technology Department is a team of predominantly technical staff working closely with the Digital and Information Management teams to provide advice and support to optimise patient care through the use of a contemporary Health Care environment. About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services, and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000 km² and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine, and Sarina.
