Health and Community Recruitment are a specialist recruitment agency dedicated to connecting passionate health talent with the best opportunities. We are proudly partnering with a family-owned growing NDIS service who has 2 clinics in Melbourne currently, with a Paeds focus. As they expand into Adelaide, they are looking for a clinician who can take on existing referrals in the northern suburbs as a Community OT, with the full support of a Melbourne-based leadership team. While this role will initially be 100% Community based, they will be opening an office in the northern suburbs and growing the team over the next year, ideally making this role the Adelaide Senior. Key areas of the role are:
- Working closely with community-based participants and their care team, providing therapeutic OT services and helping clients achieve desired goals
- Conducting home and community assessments, making home mod and AT recommendations
- Participating in individual and group-wide professional development initiatives
- Working with participants across SIL properties
- Partnering with Melbourne leadership team to assist in building SA services
- Current general registration with AHPRA as an OT and full working rights
- Minimum of 12 - 18 + months experience
- Strong passion for working with NDIS participants across the full age range (specializations can be accommodated as the team grows)
