We are a non-profit organisation which partners with the regional Department of Health to identify, train, and release high-quality healthcare providers into remote settings. Reliable electricity equipment and infrastructure are critical to sustaining high-quality healthcare. The Engineering Technology Programme equips local leaders to provide technical support to remote healthcare settings. Students are trained to construct buildings, fix critical medical technology, build solar farms to generate electricity, and repair vehicles. The Project Engineer is responsible for leading and supporting power generation and communication projects at site locations, including management, planning, design, construction, and implementation. Some remote support may be required for troubleshooting and problem-solving as well as teaching. We are looking for an engineer who is experienced in building and project design using CAD software. They will have the ability to manage projects and to support and train others. They will be willing to work in and travel to remote areas and will be creative in working in areas with fewer resources. They will demonstrate a positive yet critical attitude towards improvement of current procedures and policies.
