Job Description
The Opportunity Following the recent demerger, Webjet Group has formed a standalone organisation on ASX (WJL) and is embarking on a strategic and exciting growth journey. As an iconic Australian B2C brand ( we’ve completed a strategic review to define our growth strategy to enhance the customer experience and our market offering. This newly created Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) position will lead our customer-first strategy across our Australian and New Zealand markets. As our CMO, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the development and execution of multi-year plans across Digital, Marketing, Loyalty and E-Commerce Sales or online conversion. This role will drive growth, optimize marketing through technology, and foster cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you’ll be tasked with:- Developing and implementing a comprehensive growth strategy.
- Leading and inspiring a high-performing marketing team.
- Refreshing the Webjet Online Travel Agency (OTA) brand.
- Leading the next generation Martech (CMS & CRM).
- Designing targeted lead generation strategies.
- Leveraging data-driven insights and emerging technologies.
- Marketing or Business Degree or similar.
- A minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2C or e-commerce.
- A demonstrated track record of success in a similar role.
- Be a ‘Big Ideas’ individual who can build capability and lift organisational marketing.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- A data-driven approach to measuring and optimising marketing performance.
- Delivery of a Loyalty program.
- Expertise in brand management and a deep understanding of market trends.
