Project Delivery - Engineer

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer /Project Manager to join a world leading manufacturing business on a very exciting project! Contract Details:

1. 12 Months Contract position (possible extension)

The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer or Project Manager in the pharmaceutical sector to join a leading manufacturing business, working on an interesting project. The position will be based in the Northern part of Melbourne and is a 12-month full time contract. We are looking for someone who can control the work packages within the projects. Overseeing and managing the work packages that are equipment based on the project, new equipment coming in, seeking the person to take responsibility for the items and see through and manage their implementation. The role will involve ensuring that testing occurs at the factory, equipment arrives and is installed correctly and that commissioning and qualification is done. The right individual will manage the process all the way through the project delivery phases. We are seeking someone who can come in and understand where things are up to and deliver to cost and time requirements. Experience and Skills

1. Engineering qualifications (chemical, process or mechanical engineer)
2. 3-10 yrs experience in industry in a similar role (pharma or biotech - desirable) or ideally seeking someone with packaging lines / experience
3. Similar industries would be considered eg food and beverage, dairy
4. 3+ years of engineering or construction project management experience required
5. Experience managing multiple projects in remote locations
6. Strong communication skills with customers, design teams, contractors, and management
7. Action oriented skills; ability to learn on the fly
8. Good problem solving, technical learning, time management and prioritizing skills
9. Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility
