Services provided: We are seeking a dedicated professional to join Crimson as a Crimson Counsellor , providing high-performance-oriented support to our global employees. Your focus will be on fostering mental well-being and preventing burnout by creating a safe, confidential, and supportive environment. As a Crimson Counsellor, you will empower employees to navigate challenges and develop strategies to overcome personal and professional obstacles. This role emphasizes active listening, empathy, and respect, helping employees find their own resolutions and build resilience. Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support to Crimson employees facing difficulties, helping them identify and address their concerns.
- Use evidence-based counselling techniques, such as narrative therapy, to guide employees in developing strategies for resolution.
- Work with employees on specific issues in up to three one-hour sessions, focusing on their well-being and life transitions.
- Build trust and establish a counselling agreement, including confidentiality terms.
- Encourage employees to discuss sensitive issues in a safe and supportive space.
- Actively listen, empathize, and offer unbiased support to employees.
- Help employees gain deeper insights into their concerns and explore possible ways forward.
- Challenge inconsistencies in a supportive and constructive manner.
- Refer employees to additional resources, agencies, or healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Liaise with external organizations, such as GPs or mental health teams, to ensure employees receive comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of sessions.
- Employees feel supported and empowered to address personal challenges and life transitions.
- Sessions lead to actionable strategies that promote mental well-being and resilience.
- Employees trust and value the counselling service as a confidential, non-judgmental resource.
- Listening and active communication skills.
- Sensitivity and empathy when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to relate to a wide range of people and build trust.
