Pool Supervisor / Kaitiaki Hōpua Kaukau

All about the job This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced lifeguard who is ready to step into a leadership role in aquatics. In this role you will:

1. actively supervise our poolside staff to ensure our pools are safe at all times
2. bring an engaging leadership style to work to positively motivate our poolside staff
3. share our passion for providing an exceptional customer experience every time
4. provide a valued service to our community and the visitors to our city

All about you It would be great if you hold a current first aid certificate and a National Lifeguards Award (pools). The hours will be rostered on a fortnightly basis and will be a minimum of 36 hours per week. You will need to show us that you:

1. are highly motivated and super organised
2. are motivated by providing exceptional customer service to our community
3. can effectively lead others in an engaging way
4. are a strong swimmer and can maintain a level of swimming fitness
5. will bring your initiative to work and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to get the job done

The hours will be rostered on a fortnightly basis and will be a minimum of 36 hours per week. You must have availability to work any day of the week including shifts starting at 5am and other shifts finishing at 9:30pm.
