Job Description
- Responsible for tracking cash collected from shipping companies
- Keeping records of daily expenses & sales
- Check money owed by shipping companies & online payment provider
- Profit & loss statements
- General ledger
- Keeping records of the total value of stock we have
- Records of actual stock
- Pay suppliers
- Weekly revising of actual inventory available
- Responsible for gathering VAT invoices from suppliers & communicating monthly VAT settlement with the financial auditor
- Handle all related tax-related issues with the financial auditor
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Assist with other accounting projects
Job Requirements
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working with websites E-commerce is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Good command of English
- Time management skills.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Communication skills.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills is a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
