Job Description
· Responsible for providing financial advice and support to the organization to enable them to make sound decisions. · Support the CFO in development, implementation and monitoring of policies & procedure and infrastructure frame work. · Managing financial accounting, financial management, and annual budget process, monitoring and reporting systems for the country. · Review the Internal Control mechanisms are in place which shall minimize financial risk. · Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. · Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring and yearly audits are carried out. · Developing the feasibilities of new upcoming project in the organization. · Support the CFO in Implementation of the ERP for the organization. · Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts e.g. auditors, bankers and investors. · Liaison with the financing agencies and ensuring the compliance of their program implementation, in coordination with CFO. · Provide relevant information as and when required by the senior management. · Prepare relevant information for internal and external stakeholders with respect to programs and accounts. · Any other tasks as maybe assigned by the supervisor(s).Job Requirements
· Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance or Chartered or Public Accountant designation. · At least 5 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting. A minimum of two years must be in the management role. · Good verbal and written communication skills. · Proficiency with financial software, excellent knowledge of Excel. · Demonstrated track record of supervising finance staff. · Proficiency in written and spoken EnglishApply safely
