Looking for a Freelance Ruby on Rails Engineer to join a team of rockstar developers. The candidate should have a minimum of 4+ yrs. of experience. There are multiple openings. Company Background - We are a multinational software company that is growing at a fast pace. We have offices in Florida & New Delhi. Our clientele spreads across the US, Australia & APAC. To give you a sense of our growth rate, we've added 70+ employees in the last 6 weeks itself and expect another 125+ by the end of Q1 2025. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Ruby on Rails (RoR) and React.js .
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions on AWS , ensuring high availability and security.
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes .
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components for a smooth user experience.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR) for backend development.
- Proficiency in React.js for building interactive frontend applications.
- Experience in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
- Knowledge of API development (REST/GraphQL) and microservices architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, or other relational and NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile development environment.
