We are looking for a Shopify app developer experienced in Remix to develop, launch, and maintain a brand-new Shopify app from scratch. - Develop a Shopify app from scratch using Remix and Shopify’s latest APIs.
- Ensure high performance and scalability , following Shopify’s best practices.
- Implement and maintain backend services , ensuring seamless data handling and integrations.
- Maintain and enhance the app based on merchant feedback and platform updates.
- Handle debugging, updates, and new feature development as the app grows.
- Ensure app compliance with Shopify’s latest security and app store requirements .
- Proven experience developing Shopify apps (ideally public apps)
- Strong expertise with Remix and React
- Experience with Shopify API (Admin, GraphQL, Webhooks, etc.)
- Backend experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, or other relevant stacks
- Familiarity with serverless architecture and cloud platforms like AWS, Vercel, or Fly.io
- Ability to take full ownership of an app from development to maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
