- Full responsibility for maximizing sales in the designated area (Maharashtra and Goa – Fragrance Division).
- Generate leads via the internet, business links, relationships, exhibitions, and word of mouth.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for the fragrance division.
- Regularly analyze sales trends, assess in-house capabilities, and identify areas of strength.
- Build rapport with customers, ensuring long-term relationships and regular communication.
- Maintain a key customer interface on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction and growth.
- Collaborate with the plant team for production planning and proactive dispatches to support existing and future business.
- Update and maintain the customer database, ensuring accurate reporting and data recording as needed.
- Travel 15-20 days a month or more, depending on business needs.
- Support distributors in channel sales and provide guidance for market penetration.
- Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely updates and proper documentation.
- Conduct competitive intelligence to stay ahead in the market.
- Report daily visits and activities to the VP Fragrances.
- Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of sales, customer interactions, and reporting.
- 8-10 years of experience in the fragrance industry, with a proven track record of success.
- MBA or graduate in science is preferred for a deeper understanding of the product range.
- Fluency in Marathi, English, and Hindi is mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ability to deal with rejection and adapt to challenging sales scenarios.
- Flexible with travel requirements as per business needs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of products, market dynamics, and customer requirements.
- Professional manners and strong business sense.
- Preference will be given to local candidates from Maharashtra.
