We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Assistant IT Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the IT Manager in overseeing our technology infrastructure, implementing new systems, and ensuring smooth operations across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to oversee daily operations of the IT department
  • Manage IT projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, and security protocols
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex IT issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers
  • Assist in creating and managing the IT budget
  • Implement and maintain IT policies and procedures
  • Train and mentor IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Conduct regular system audits and risk assessments
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand and meet their IT needs
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cybersecurity
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in relevant IT systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial planning in IT contexts
  • Adaptability to new technologies and industry changes
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and IT compliance regulations
