We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Surveyor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Assistant Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our surveying projects, ensuring accurate measurements and data collection for various construction and development initiatives in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting land topographic and construction surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
- Collect and record survey data, including measurements, field notes, and sketches.
- Utilize AutoCAD and GIS software to create accurate maps, plans, and drawings.
- Perform calculations and data analysis to ensure the precision of survey results.
- Collaborate with senior surveyors and project teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain surveying equipment and ensure proper calibration.
- Adhere to safety protocols and local regulations while working onsite.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of survey findings.
- Participate in quality control processes to verify the accuracy of survey data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in surveying or a related field.
- Proficiency in using modern surveying equipment and software.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS systems.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Understanding of local land laws and regulations in the UAE.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., RICS) preferred.
- Willingness to work in various outdoor environments in Dubai and surrounding areas.
- Physical ability to work in challenging terrain and weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
