Job Description: FutureIK Technologies is seeking an experienced LG webOS Developer for a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in developing and deploying applications on LG webOS Smart TVs. The successful candidate will be responsible for building high-performance, responsive applications tailored for digital signage solutions, ensuring seamless media playback, real-time data synchronization, and optimized user experiences. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy applications for LG webOS Smart TVs using web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Enact framework).
  • Integrate APIs for real-time data exchange and media content management.
  • Handle media playback functionalities, including video, image, live streaming, and web-based content.
  • Optimize applications for performance, ensuring smooth transitions, low latency, and efficient resource utilization.
  • Implement socket programming (using Socket.IO) for real-time communication between devices and servers.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across different LG webOS versions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Ensure applications comply with LG webOS development guidelines and best practices.
  • Maintain clear documentation for code, APIs, and deployment processes.
  • Continuously monitor the latest updates in webOS SDKs and suggest improvements for product enhancements.
Qualifications: Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in LG webOS application development.
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying apps on LG Smart TVs.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Enact framework .
  • Experience with webOS SDK , LG IDE, and emulator tools.
  • Solid understanding of socket programming for real-time data communication.
  • Proficiency in API integration (RESTful APIs) and media playback functionalities.
  • Experience in managing media assets like videos, images, and live streams.
  • Knowledge of debugging tools for webOS and performance optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with cross-platform development tools and smart TV-specific challenges.
Problem-Solving:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Communication:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with external stakeholders.
Deadline-Driven:
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight timelines while maintaining code quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with video streaming protocols (HLS, DASH) and DRM integration.
  • Familiarity with device resource management and performance tuning on smart TVs.
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Firebase) for data synchronization.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Prior experience working with digital signage solutions is a plus.
