About the Role We are seeking a results-driven Audience Growth Specialist with a focus on expanding our website audience through strategic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and content strategy initiatives. In this role, you will develop and execute content strategies aligned with audience growth goals, leveraging SEO insights to optimize existing content and guide the creation of new, high-impact material. Working closely with product managers and digital content creators, you will align SEO and content strategies to enhance discoverability, engagement, and overall traffic for our media brands. This role requires expertise in data analysis, keyword research, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable results. Develop and implement SEO strategies to drive organic growth and improve rankings on key search terms. Identify high-potential opportunities based on keyword research, traffic trends, and rankings data. Collaborate with tech teams to address technical SEO issues and ensure proper site indexing and tagging. Content Strategy for Audience Growth: Work closely with product managers and digital content creators to align content initiatives with audience growth goals. Guide editorial teams in optimizing existing content and creating new content tailored to audience needs and search intent. Provide actionable insights to shape content strategies that enhance user engagement and retention. Keyword Research & Content Optimization: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to uncover audience search behaviors and content opportunities. Optimize content for target keywords, readability, and engagement while adhering to SEO best practices. Regularly audit content performance, recommending updates to improve search visibility and audience impact. Technical SEO Audits & Improvements: Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting website performance. Ensure effective implementation of internal link structures, meta tags, and page indexing. Stay informed about the latest SEO tools, trends, and algorithm updates to guide technical enhancements. Analytics, Reporting & Competitive Research: Monitor website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs. Report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates, highlighting opportunities for improvement. Analyze competitor strategies to identify content gaps and backlink opportunities. Educate internal teams on SEO and content best practices, advocating for data-driven decisions. Who we are looking for Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2-4 years of experience in SEO, content strategy, or related roles within publishing or digital media industries. Technical Skills: Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and other keyword research platforms. Strong understanding of on-page and technical SEO best practices, including metadata optimization and site architecture. Experience in leveraging analytics to drive content strategy and measure campaign success. Skills & Attributes: Strategic thinker with the ability to align content initiatives with business and audience growth objectives. Excellent communication skills for collaboration across editorial, product, and tech teams. Proactive and results-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities.
