What you will be working on As an Investigation Officer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and impartial investigations into various incidents or violations. In this role, you will:
- Conduct audits on employers to ensure compliance.
- Investigate non-compliance issues promptly and thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending appropriate actions.
- Enforce compliance with employee contribution requirements and recover any outstanding payments from employers.
- Travel to different places of employment to conduct investigations and facilitate resolution of compliance issues.
- Handle voluntary self-rectification processes, assisting employers in rectifying compliance issues.
- Manage and respond to whistleblower reports including investigating allegations of wrongdoing.
- Maintain accurate records of investigations, audits, and enforcement actions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Relevant experience in conducting audits, investigations, or enforcement activities.
- Good analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyse data, and develop effective solutions.
- Good communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in gathering, documenting, and analysing evidence.
- Willingness to travel to different locations as needed for investigations and audits.
