Job Purpose To plan and execute business growth strategies. To perform business analysis and market studies. To work with South East Asia region's business partners to ensure sustainable growth and continuity. To support sales & marketing team on daily activities and events. Duties and Responsibilities Business Development Manager duties and responsibilities are as listed below. Note that the list is not comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time. Build and manage relationships with overseas/local business partners, distributors, dealers, and/or agents. Identify and maintain distributors for regional market expansion around Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines. Oversee and manage sales and marketing tactics, new product launches for Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines. Work with stakeholders to steer overall business directions towards achieving set targets. Provide support to business entities to ensure that business objectives are achieved or exceeded. Perform analysis and market studies to provide sound advice to stakeholders. Ensure that you understudy and monitor regulatory changes and new legislations to advise management. Prepare monthly performance reports and ensure Key Performance Indicators of investments and areas of interest, when required. Plan and prepare senior management for overseas trips and on visiting trade delegations. Conduct root cause analysis and undertake project improvement initiatives whenever required. Analyze existing projects and recommend predictive solutions when necessary. Conduct regular, in-depth analyses of our company’s policies and processes to ascertain strengths and shortcomings. Develop efficient workflows/processes to improve productivity and business growth. Participate in management update meetings to Senior Management. Prepare annual budgets and monitor expenses. Scrutinize the Southeast Asia market to elucidate client needs, competitors’ activities, and promising avenues that have not yet been explored. Skills and Competencies Technical skills : Knowledge of Electric Vehicles and chargers will be an advantage. Familiarity with contract requirements and clauses. Strong contractor management and business acumen. Automotive/Engineering background (preferred). Past experiences in Franchisee, Distributor, Dealer Management (preferred). Prior experiences in overseas business development (preferred). Generic skills: Excellent multitasking skills. Complete understanding of contemporary market trends. Good command of written and spoken Mandarin and English (to communicate with BYD HQ Staff in China). Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. Team player but able to work independently. Good time-management skills. Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Able to travel for business as and when required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
