Identify and pursue new business opportunities by seeking out potential clients and markets. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, distributors, and wholesale partners. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients and suppliers to ensure profitability while maintaining competitiveness. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to adapt sales strategies and offer relevant products. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure the timely replenishment of stock to meet customer demand. Work closely with the supply chain team to forecast demand, prevent stockouts, and reduce overstock. Ensure that warehouse management practices (e.g., stock rotation, shelf-life management) are implemented correctly to maintain product quality. Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and ensure stock accuracy. Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Monitor customer feedback and address complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate with the marketing and customer service teams to provide exceptional service and support to customers. Develop promotional offers, discounts, and incentives for bulk buyers to increase sales. Pricing & Cost Management: Analyze cost structures, market conditions, and competitor pricing to develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies. Ensure pricing is consistent across different channels and in line with company profitability goals. Regularly assess and adjust pricing structures based on market changes, supply costs, and demand fluctuations. Manage margin targets and ensure that pricing strategies are aligned with company objectives. Supply Chain & Logistics Management: Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products to wholesale clients. Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely production and shipment of goods. Optimize delivery routes and logistics processes to reduce lead times and shipping costs. Address and resolve any supply chain or delivery issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to client orders. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and supervise a team of wholesale sales representatives and other support staff. Provide training, coaching, and ongoing professional development for team members to improve performance and skills. Set performance goals for the team and monitor progress against targets. Foster a collaborative, productive, and positive team culture. Reporting & Analytics: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, inventory levels, and customer feedback for senior management. Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for process improvement and revenue growth. Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales progress, customer acquisition, and retention rates. Compliance & Regulations: Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and industry standards related to wholesale distribution, including product safety, labeling, and environmental regulations. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that the company adheres to relevant laws.
