Job details
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mid-Level QA Consultant with fluency in French and experience in both quality assurance and technical support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing, including test case preparation and automation testing, while also providing exceptional support to our French-speaking clients. This role requires a strong understanding of QA methodologies, hands-on experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans to ensure software quality.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Katalon, Selenium, etc.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA.
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards, processes, and best practices.
- Document and maintain test artifacts in Confluence for easy reference and knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical support to French-speaking clients, addressing their queries and issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related problems, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Document support cases, including steps taken to resolve issues, and maintain a knowledge base.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist in training clients on product features and functionalities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and support.
- Proven experience in test case preparation, manual and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA for bug tracking and Confluence for documentation.
- Proven experience in technical support or customer-facing roles.
- Fluency in French (written and spoken) and proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and priorities effectively.
