ABOUT THE ROLE You are part of the COO Office and are responsible for improving operational efficiency within the Operations team. Monitor performance, streamline initiatives, oversee program management around operational efficiency. Align on top-level operational performance objectives, projects, & metrics, and communicate to departments. Help define new operational strategies by working with the COO office and other executives on special projects. Manage & plan manpower requirements for operational teams across all geographies. Support in keeping the environment & management framework appropriate to making teams highly productive: career progression plans, SOPs, documentation, communication channels, escalation strategies, organizational design, etc. Help with planning and coordinating strategic cross-functional events and/or reports, such as board meetings, leadership workshops & offsites. Serve as a subject-matter expert, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications. YOUR PROFILE You have done it before - 8+ years project management & leadership experience in consulting, investment banking, or fintech. Proven success in executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration. Understanding of the basics of financial services, including payments, financial crime, and customer operations. You can build a vision and action plan - Ability to create a vision & strategy for your team, build an action plan based on this, and execute it effectively & without supervision, rallying other leaders to your cause. You have strong communication & project management skills - Experienced in communicating with senior executives and on-the-ground teams. Your communication is clear, structured, and concise. You know how to project manage large projects with many dependencies. You make operations run like clockwork - Highly analytical and structured, capable of leading diverse teams to success. You are customer-obsessed - Always putting yourself in the shoes of the customer. You have strong communication & prioritization skills - Expert at communicating your vision, strategy, expectations, and priorities to all levels of the organization.
