WANTED ... An experienced Contracts Manager with a passion for Project Management. If youre the OperationsManagerwere looking for youll: Be a qualified tradesman or engineer with circa 10 years experience in construction / buildings management. Have a good general knowledge of buildings and how they work. Have a working knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems. Have experience in managing projects with an ability to motivate and manage tradesmen working on your projects. Have working knowledge in leak detection / repair on balconies / flat roofs. An excellent planner and communicator with the ability to present detailed information in a clear and accurate format. A responsible, respectful, reliable, hard-working team leader and team player Friendly, confident, positive and customer-focussed Have at least 5 years experience in people and operations management. Experience counts, but most of all youve got to have passion, responsibility and pride in what you do. You will only accept the best performance from yourself and your team. The main purpose of this role is to take responsibility for pricing / organising and completing small commercial maintenance projects / fit-outs. It would ideally suit an experienced tradesman who wants to transition away from the tools and is looking to move into a contracts manager / project management role. The job involves organising different trades to complete small to mid-sized jobs across electrical / mechanical / carpentry / painting etc. Its important to communicate with customers during a job and also to provide a completed report at the end of the project. Liaising with our Finance team to make sure the job is profitable and invoices go out on time is also an important part of the job. And us? Were Phasor Maintenance.
