Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Actuarial Science within UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics. The School of Mathematics and Statistics at University College Dublin is seeking to appoint a permanent Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Actuarial Science. The UCD College of Science, to which the School of Mathematics and Statistics belongs, is undergoing an exciting transformation under the guiding principle of ` data in science, science in data '. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and sustain a leading research programme in Actuarial Science, including publishing in peer-reviewed academic journals, the supervision of research students and the development and submission of competitive applications for external funding. The successful candidate will also be expected to be committed to pursuing excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across the School's wide-ranging programmes, and to contribute to the development and delivery of new programmes. Lecturer / Assistant Professor (Above the Bar) Salary Scale: €62,855 - €99,533 per annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
