A little taste of your day-to-day Every day is different at IHG, but you will mostly be:
- Responsible for the entire credit granting process, bill collection, and the consistent application of a credit policy.
- Managing and ensuring that the hotel achieves optimum performance and meets the required credit targets.
- Reviewing and assessing existing client accounts periodically and evaluating the worthiness of potential clients to optimize the mix of company sales and bad debt losses.
- Similar experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
- Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting or Finance with one year in a supervisory role.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of credit risk management and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
