About This Opportunity

Main Accountabilities:

1. Departmental Leadership : Supervise staff administrative activities across the university, providing guidance and support as needed.
2. Strategic Partnership : Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders to inform decision-making and drive progress.
3. Operational Improvement : Oversee the Finance, Human Resources, IT, Facilities, and Purchasing departments, optimizing processes for maximum impact.
4. Academic Development : Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement academic strategic planning, aligning with the university's vision.
5. Financial Stewardship : Manage all financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and collection processes, ensuring prudent stewardship of resources.
6. Maintenance and Upkeep : Be responsible for building maintenance and grounds upkeep, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
7. Purchasing and Procurement : Oversee all purchases, including instructional materials, furniture, supplies, technology software, etc., ensuring value for money.
8. HR Function : Manage staff salaries and benefits, ensuring compliance with government regulations and university policies.
9. Personnel Administration : Lead personnel operations, including recruitment, contracting, termination, training, development, and induction programs for administrative staff.
10. Disciplinary Action : Take disciplinary actions as necessary, submitting an annual report to the President.
11. Additional Responsibilities : Perform other duties as assigned by the President, contributing to the university's success.
