Expertise in scalable AI architectures, cloud-native AI solutions, and data-driven decision-making is essential for success in this role. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of AI to lead our AI/ML initiatives, ensuring the seamless integration of advanced AI solutions across our organization. This role will drive AI strategy, innovation, and governance, leading a high-performing team of Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, MLOps Engineers, and Prompt Engineers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of scalable AI architectures, cloud-native AI solutions, and the practical application of AI-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & AI Governance:
- Develop and implement a forward-thinking AI and data analytics strategy aligned with the company’s overarching goals.
- Champion a data-centric culture, facilitating AI adoption across all departments to optimize business performance.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in AI, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Autonomous AI.
- Encourage AI-driven collaboration across business functions to maximize organizational impact and transformation.
- AI Governance & Management:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and ML models that address complex business challenges.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automating and optimizing business operations using AI technologies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into products, services, and business operations.
- Ensure AI ethics and responsible AI practices are embedded throughout the development and deployment processes.
- Business Impact & Insights:
- Translate AI-driven insights into actionable strategies to improve decision-making.
- Partner with business units to understand their needs and provide tailored AI solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of AI and analytics initiatives.
- Drive AI-powered automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align AI and analytics strategies with business objectives.
- Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and impactful way.
- Represent the organization in external AI engagements, conferences, and partnerships.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Knowledge of AI ethics and commitment to implementing responsible AI practices.
- Certifications in AI, data analytics, or relevant methodologies (e.g., Azure Cloud AI Certification).
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience and Competencies:
- Programming Languages: Python, R, SQL.
- Proven success in designing and implementing enterprise-level AI and analytics strategies in a leadership role.
- 8-15 years of experience in data analytics, AI.
