- Review project specifications and blueprints to understand installation requirements.
- Develop detailed installation plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
- Conduct site assessments to ensure readiness for installation.
- Coordinate with project managers and other engineers to address any site-specific challenges.
- Oversee the installation of elevators and escalators, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Assemble and install all components, including machinery, electrical systems, and control panels.
- Perform inspections throughout the installation process to verify that work meets company and industry standards.
- Work closely with other team members, including technicians and project managers, to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including time logs, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Prepare and submit reports on installation progress and outcomes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during installation.
- Conduct safety briefings for the installation team and ensure all members are equipped with necessary safety gear.
- Identify and resolve any technical issues that arise during installation.
- Provide solutions to challenges encountered in the field, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
- Train new staff on installation procedures and safety practices.
- Share knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, technologies, and best practices.
- Recommend improvements to installation processes and procedures for enhanced efficiency.
