About the Role We're seeking an experienced Product Owner to shape and drive our insurance product strategy across customer solutions. This role combines deep product management expertise with insurance domain knowledge to deliver innovative solutions that meet both customer needs and business objectives. Key Responsibilities - Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for insurance products distributed through banking partners - Drive product discovery and validation through data-driven insights and market research - Define and prioritize product features based on customer needs, market opportunities, and business value - Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams - Collaborate with UX/UI teams to create intuitive customer journeys - Work closely with actuarial, underwriting, and compliance teams to ensure product viability - Manage stakeholder relationships across banking partners and internal teams - Monitor product performance metrics and drive continuous improvement Required Qualifications - 10+ years of product management experience, with significant exposure to insurance or financial services - Proven track record of launching successful digital insurance products - Strong understanding of insurance operations, regulations, and market dynamics - Experience with agile methodologies and product development frameworks - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities - Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or related field - Product Management certification (e.g., CSPO, CPO) preferred Technical & Domain Knowledge - Deep understanding of insurance product development lifecycle - Experience with insurance platforms and core systems - Knowledge of API-first product development - Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools - Understanding of digital distribution channels - Experience with A/B testing and feature experimentation Essential Skills - Strategic thinking with strong business acumen - Outstanding stakeholder management abilities - Excellent prioritization and decision-making skills - Strong analytical and quantitative abilities - Clear communication and storytelling capabilities - Experience leading remote teams - Ability to influence without direct authority Product Management Expertise - User story mapping and backlog grooming - Product discovery and validation techniques - Feature prioritization frameworks - Customer journey mapping - Product metrics and KPI development - Agile ceremonies and rituals - Voice of Customer (VOC) methodologies - Competitive analysis and market research Success Factors The ideal candidate will demonstrate: - Ability to balance customer needs with business objectives - Strong commercial awareness and market understanding - Excellence in cross-functional team leadership - Data-driven decision-making approach - Proactive problem-solving mindset - Comfort with ambiguity and change
