Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements. Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded. Reconcile accounts and make necessary adjustments.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Monitor budget variances and report discrepancies.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee processing of invoices and payments. Manage collections and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and file tax returns. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights. Support management in financial decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as an accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
