Job Summary The Senior Project Engineer ensures that projects are completed in a safe manner and meet the project objectives through planning and scheduling, resource allocation and management, cost control, technical direction, compliance with quality standards and procedures. Assists the Project Manager in overseeing the Operational Management areas: Human Resource Management, Project Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, Safety Management, Subcontract management, Material Procurement, and Management of all Projects System Assembly. Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage and oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to develop project plans, specifications, and timelines.
  3. Supervise activities on-site, including scheduling labor, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient project execution.
  4. Monitor project progress, identifying potential delays, risks, and issues, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
  6. Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, to maintain accurate records.
  7. Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to provide updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
  8. Manage project budgets and expenditures, tracking costs and forecasting expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies to enhance project delivery and outcomes.
  10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among project teams and subcontractors.
Job Knowledge & Skills
  1. In-depth understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials.
  2. Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
  3. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders, subcontractors, and project teams.
  4. Problem-solving abilities to address challenges and obstacles encountered during project execution.
  5. Leadership skills to effectively manage teams and coordinate construction activities on-site.
  6. ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years relevant working experience, 2 years in GCC is a plus. Competencies

Education
  1. Professional degree in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA)
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or any related field.
