Job details

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. As a CDP, you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, consistency, and efficiency. You will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high culinary standards and contribute to an excellent dining experience.

Food Preparation & Cooking

  1. Oversee and manage a designated kitchen section.
  2. Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
  3. Ensure timely execution of orders while maintaining presentation and taste quality.

Kitchen Operations & Organization

  1. Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness in compliance with health & safety regulations.
  2. Ensure mise en place (preparation work) is completed before service.
  3. Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  1. Supervise and mentor junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
  2. Assist in training new staff and ensuring they adhere to kitchen protocols.
  3. Work closely with other sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Quality & Safety Compliance

  1. Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
  2. Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients to prevent food wastage.
  3. Report any kitchen issues or maintenance needs to management.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 5 Years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a similar role. Education: Culinary diploma or equivalent professional training (preferred but not mandatory). Skills:
  1. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
  2. Ability to handle high-pressure kitchen environments.
  3. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  4. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
