About the Company Our Client is a global leading MNC in the industrial sector and is looking for a Finance Assistant Manager with strong commercial business acumen to lead their team. This opportunity allows you to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will be a commercial finance business partner and support treasury and accounts payable functions, ensure timely financial reporting, and contribute to streamlining processes across regional and global teams. About the Job Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, you will be the finance business partner to commercial and operations to drive and support business decisions. You will oversee various financial operations, including cash flow management and the accurate submission of reports. You will monitor vendor accounts and address outstanding balances by region, ensuring timely settlements and reconciliation of accounts, including reviewing payment proposals, processing brokerage and commission payments, and conducting self-assessments for internal controls. Additionally, you will support agent settlement processes, resolve discrepancies in freight collections and disbursements, and ensure all claim-backs are properly authorized. By conducting regular reviews of accounts receivable reconciliations and monthly accounts, you will ensure financial accuracy and compliance with global policies. You will also handle queries from regional and offshore offices, collaborate on process improvements, and participate in ad-hoc projects to enhance financial systems and operations. Skills and Experience Required Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent). Relevant years of experience in financial operations and reporting. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and interpersonal abilities to work effectively across departments and regions.
