  1. An experienced and highly skilled Principal Instrumentation and Control Engineer to lead and oversee the instrumentation and control systems for our oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced control systems and instrumentation equipment in complex, large-scale projects.
  2. Develop discipline work plans and supervise I&C engineers, designers, and technical personnel in the execution of the project and development of project deliverables.
  3. Provide technical expertise and support in the specification, design, and selection of instruments, controllers, and control systems.
  4. Manage all aspects of instrumentation and control engineering on assigned projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource planning, and risk management.
  5. Manage design change within project budget and schedule framework. Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration and timely completion of the project.
  6. Oversee the preparation of design deliverables and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  7. Effective interaction with client engineering team for approval of design deliverables.
  8. Onshore design of Control room and Instrumentation Equipment Room (IES) in the Oil & Gas Industry. Design of ICSS, F&G, ESD.
  9. Experience in the production, design, evaluation, and specification of I&C equipment and automation systems, package items, and I&C bulk items including cabling in detailed design packages.
  10. Development of I&C specifications, data sheets, and other engineering deliverables.
  11. Experience in Preparing Material requisition, Scope of Works, review of offers, technical clarifications, & Technical Bid Evaluations for all I&C items.
  12. Experience in working in SPI & Aveva Instrumentation. 3D modelling activities related to Instrumentations.
  13. Participation in various Workshops such as Design reviews, HAZOP, SIL, Risk review, Energy Optimization review, and Value engineering.
Knowledge / Experience / Competencies Required:
  1. Job Specific Knowledge: Experience in execution of Concept, FEED and Detail Engineering for onshore & downstream Oil and Gas projects.
  2. Industry Specific Experience: Good knowledge of ADNOC standards, SHELL DEPs, International standards such as IEEE, ANSI, IESNA, NFPA, IEC Standards.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Graduate Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Chartered Engineer is preferred. HSE Capability: Good knowledge of Hazardous Area classification, Instrumentation Safety in design, Sustainable design engineering, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL. IT Skills: Computer skills with MS office and Instrumentation engineering / sizing software such as SPI, AVEVA, Instrucalc software. People Skills: Good communication skill, Leadership skill and able to guide team working locally as well as for workshare with centre of excellence and integrated delivery, mentoring junior Engineers. Other: Good command on English language – verbal as well as writing skills, report writing, presentation to client.
